For the most part laser treatments are very safe. A full medical history form and skin assessment are required prior to any laser procedures to ensure that you are a good candidate for laser treatments.

There are risks and possible side effects to laser treatments such as redness to the skin, burns, blisters, pinpoint bleeding and scabbing. If these issues do arise they are to be treated like a burn.

After any treatment you can treat the area with cold compresses, soothing creams such as aloe and you are not to scratch or pick at the areas. Areas of irritation should improve over the course of 24 hours yet may take up to a few weeks depending on the severity.

Hyper and hypopigmentation of the skin are also a risk factors, especially if you have darker skin. Skin lightening creams may be used prior to treatment if needed to help prevent such side effects.  

Eye protection is mandatory during all laser treatments as the light from the laser can harm your eyes.

It depends on which treatment is being performed, the area treated as well as the individuals pain threshold. Some treatments are completely painless while others may feel like an elastic band is snapping on the skin. Some of the lasers are equipped with a cooling tip to assist with any discomfort that you may experience. There may be a degree of  mild discomfort such as a stinging or a burning sensation immediately after the treatment that can last up to 24 hrs. 

Tattoo removal is more painful as the laser is working at a deeper level. The pain is short-lived as the treatments generally only last 5-10 minutes. 

It is important to have an initial consultations so we can do an initial skin assessment in order to identify the issues you are wishing to improve upon, explain all treatment options and discuss how many treatments may be required to achieve your optimal results. 

It is during this assessment that  we can work together to develop a treatment program unique to you and your personal skin care needs. 

During this appointment it is important to clarify realistic expectations of the treatments and to discuss post treatment measures you can take to ensure long lasting results  and to maximize the time required between treatments. It is also important discuss any current medications and and medical issues as there are some instances where the treatment approach would need to be adjusted to ensure your safety.

There are many factors involved in determining how many treatments are necessary to obtain results. A more accurate calculation can be determined during the initial consultation.

Hair Removal:

The average hair removal series can be 6-8 treatments every 6-8 weeks for optimal results. 

Skin Rejuvenation:

Skin Rejuvenation can be performed every 4-6 weeks. 

Vascular Pigmentation: 

Age spot treatments can require 2-4 sessions. 

Tattoo Removal:

Tattoo removal can take 3 treatments to prepare for a cover up yet until removal has begun we can not determine how many treatments it will take for complete removal. On average it takes 8-10 treatments, however each removal is very individualized. 

Carbon Facial Peel:

With the "Hollywood Facial" you will see immediate results with zero downtime and can be done weekly.

Fractional Skin Resuracing:

Fractional Skin Resurfacing treatments will vary for each client depending on the concerns that we are treating. We will be able to give you a better idea during your initial visit.

How does it work?

Does the 50% off ever expire?

• No it doesn't. It will be marked on your file for whenever you choose to use it.

Can I refer more than one friend?

• Absolutely! Please refer as many friends as you would like. We will keep track of all referral discounts in your chart.

Can I use more than one referral discount during a treatment?

• Yes! If you have two referral discounts saved up you can get your treatment for free!

Can I use the referral discount on any treatment offered?

• Yes, the discount can be applied to any service you choose providing you qualify for the treatment.

Do I have to use the discount at my next appointment or can I save it for another time?

• You can use your discount at any time on any service.

Can I use the discount to purchase packages?

• NO, unfortunately the discount can only be used on an individual treatment. 

Can I earn referral discounts if I haven't been a client?

• NO, unfortunately you will have be a client in our charting system in order to receive the discount.

If I was a training model and haven't been an "official" client can I still collect the discount?

• Definitely! First of all thank you !!! Secondly you will already be in the system and the discounts will be tracked the same way.

What if my discount doesn't get applied at my appointment? Can I get a refund for the 50% off?

• NO, the discount has to be applied at the time of the service. Please remind staff that you would like the discount added to the service at the start of the appointment and double check to ensure that the discount has been applied prior to payment to ensure that it was not accidentally missed.

What if my friend forgot to add my name?

• Unfortunately the discount can not be applied unless your first and last names have been entered on your friends intake form.

Can I refer a friend if we are both already clients?

• NO. The referral incentive program is aimed to bring new clients into the clinic.

Refunds will not be issued on any services received, packages or payment plans purchased.

We kindly ask that you do not bring your children with you to your appointment. They can not be in the room while the laser is running and we do not have a safe, supervised area for them while you are getting your treatment.
